I&#8217;m still exercising almost daily, sometimes the weights make me so sore the next couple of days I can&#8217;t workout again for a few days. I can struggle through the aerobics, but the second day I should do aerobics again if I&#8217;m too sore from weights, but I get lazy and tell myself I&#8217;m going to workout in the afternoon and by the time the afternoon arrives, it&#8217;s dinner and I&#8217;m done for the night. I guess I should scale back the weight routines, but then it doesn&#8217;t seem like I&#8217;m working hard enough. I may just pick a mostly aerobic workout and stick to that until I&#8217;m in good enough shape to do some weight training.</p>

<p>The weather is so perfect today, a little windy, but really nice. Now I&#8217;ll rest a little, open up the house and let the breeze through and start another workout after a few days off.</p>

I may try and finish tonight after work, but I&#8217;ve never been able to get my fat butt off the couch once I get home and sit down. I am starting to feel better throughout the day, but just sitting at my desk all day I&#8217;m completely wiped out.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m really starting to re-think what I&#8217;m eating at lunch. A friend and I are starting to walk around the complex at lunch after we eat a salad or something in the lunch room. The battle against the weight is not a battle, it&#8217;s a long drawn out war and it will take a while until I get to the point I want. Not just thin, but fit.</p>

I&#8217;m glad the weather is getting nicer and I can finally turn off the heat and open up the house for a change.

<p>I&#8217;m glad the weather is getting nicer and I can finally turn off the heat and open up the house for a change.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m updating this from the doctor&#8217;s office instead of watching the stupid stuff on tv. It&#8217;s not impossible to update and type on a cell phone, but it passes the time. I&#8217;ve seen kids type so fast on phones and blackberrys their fingers blur. I&#8217;m not that fast yet.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The weather is getting so nice now I may have to move a TV out to the porch, if only my porch was out of view from the neighbors. I don&#8217;t need the neighbors laughing at my fat bouncing around, plus my workout clothes aren&#8217;t what I would normally wear in public. It&#8217;s such a beautiful day outside, maybe I&#8217;ll just take the dog for a walk in his new harness. It&#8217;s a harness, but it&#8217;s wide and made of cloth instead of straps. It looks comfortable, but thankfully I&#8217;m not the one wearing it.</p>
<p>If I don&#8217;t work out in the morning, it&#8217;s tough to get motivated later in the day. Maybe I&#8217;ll take a nap first. Besides I went to lunch with a friend and ate too much. Nap, walk the dog, workout later, or maybe just stretch later and workout tomorrow.</p>

Plus I&#8217;ve started keeping track of my walks on my phone&#8217;s GPS with my dog and I&#8217;m up to three miles every other day.

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Or so I&#8217;ve been told. I bought a workout video and now it&#8217;s time to get started. There will be no &#8220;before&#8221; pictures and it will be a long time before I put up an &#8220;after&#8221; picture. I&#8217;ll put it this way, I have a long journey ahead of me. I&#8217;m not looking to be a supermodel, but I would like to wear a bathing suit to the apartment pool and not be embarrassed or listen to whale jokes and how if I jump in the pool there won&#8217;t be any water left for anyone else. I&#8217;ve heard them all, joke time is over.</p>
<p>I can use the excuse that I&#8217;m too busy to workout, but honestly, I enjoy sitting on the couch or laying in bed watching TV, shows or movies, it doesn&#8217;t matter. And I love ice cream, chocolate and deep fat fried anything, not necessarily in that order.</p>
<p>So here&#8217;s my step, put in an exercise DVD and get my fat ass off the couch. First one step and then I&#8217;ll think about the next step.</p>
